QA Engineer

About the Role
In your role as QA Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity test, and launch new functionalities for our platform. You will collaborate with our existing team of developers. You should be familiar with all aspects of testing application, and must have prior experience testing webapps and mobile apps. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and passionate to work on word class system used by thousands of users. Responsibilities

• Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
• Develop, modify, maintain, and execute automated scripts for testing various digital communication and messaging channels such as email, SMS, and push.
• End to end marketing campaign, triggered and transactional email validation (email deliverability, subject line testing, email preview, etc.).
• Work with Digital Engineering Ops to ensure teams are following the release cadence/process, release schedule, ADA compliance and test automation standards.
• Develop automation roadmap and help initiate the right framework.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Flexibility and ability to work collaboratively within matrices, ‘virtual’ and flat environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in test automation techniques for complex interdependent programs/projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in writing test scripts for marketing automation integrated systems, end to end campaign management and messaging platform.
• Experience in email test/preview tools such as Litmus or equivalent.
• Familiarity with test engineering tools such as JUnit, Selenium Webdriver, Enterprise Test automation framework, Unix Shell scripting, Jmeter, JIRA, GIT, and SQL.
• Experience with Cucumber\JBehave, BDD, TestNG testing frameworks.
• Able to test back end API’s (SOAP and REST) and front-end UI applications Knowledge of CI/CD tools to integrate the automation scripts.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interact with senior management, technical subject matter experts, and business customers are all essential in this role.
• Effective time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate and meet deadlines.
