About the Role
In your role as Business Systems Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity design, launch new functionalities for our platform. You will collaborate with our existing team of developers. You should be familiar with all aspects of application development, and must have prior experience preparing functional and technical specifications. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and passionate to work on word class cloud based system used by thousands of users. Responsibilities
- Work with Project Stakeholders to Scope out projects for Developers.
- Create Functional and Technical specifications for Developers to Execute.
- Communicate Requirements to Key Stakeholders through the use of Specifications, Statements of work, Project Plans, or other forms of documentation or training materials.
- Requirements tied to strategy that is further decomposed into detailed user, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Requirements, user stories, and acceptance test criteria must be composed in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers, customers and project teams.
- Analyze and verify requirements, user stories, and acceptance tests for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and testability.
- Help manage and track various Projects tasks.
- Help communicate internal and externally project progress.
- Work with development, QA and UAT teams to ensure delivered solution meets requirements utilizing acceptance test criteria.
- Participation in User Acceptance Testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a business related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-4 years relevant experience
- Experience with translating functional requirements into technical solutions and specifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
- Excellent analytic skills. Must be able to critically evaluate information gathered, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
- Superior written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development. Demonstrated ability to independently perform analysis and author specifications.
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience working in multiple Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) required
- Well-versed in querying SQL Server databases.
